Gree Vireo

Why we install the Vireo.

Up to 26 SEER2 and 10.4 HSPF2. Inverter compressor. R-32 refrigerant. ENERGY STAR certified models.

It heats. The Vireo is a heat pump rated to heat down to -22°F and cool up to 122°F outdoor, which covers Treasure Valley and McCall winters and summers.

Single-zone systems in 9K, 12K, 18K and 24K BTU, or a multi-zone outdoor unit with two to five heads. Manufacturer warranty on the equipment, one year on our labor.

Questions we get

Does it heat in winter?Yes. The Vireo is a heat pump rated to heat down to -22°F. That covers Treasure Valley and McCall winters.

Can one outdoor unit run several rooms?Yes. Multi-zone outdoor units run two to five indoor heads.

How loud is it?Quiet. The compressor is outside. Inside is a fan, and on low it is hard to hear.

Does it need new electrical?Yes. The outdoor unit needs a dedicated 230V circuit run to its location. That electrical work and its inspection are not part of our install; your electrician handles it.

Will you install a unit I bought?Yes. We install customer-supplied mini-splits too.
